Please Don’t Think This is a Request.
This is a demand from the Ritalin-popping-immediate gratification-generation surfing the net (aka 95% of your potential customers).
And spending $10 for a logo and $100 for the site is a good deal right? Nobody really cares about how good your site is, “It’s our reputation they admire.” Wait. What?
So you hired your friend’s kid. You heard all about how he is great with computers and is a tech genius. He took a design class in high school or maybe a couple courses at the local community college and he has done a couple websites. Your friend mentions this a few times and you see a chance to get your website done and save some money.
However, if your company is a web design or marketing firm, it’s just a way of saying, “We’re idiots, keep moving.”
Update to the present, and throw in a social media invite asking “Will you be my friend?” Sure. Wait, I’m sorry, I just threw up in my mouth a little from remembering your site.
